Trust Greenbelt is the gift of the Greenbelt community to global and UK initiatives that find ways of combining faith, justice and the arts – in their broadest sense. Festival goers give tens of thousands of pounds to Trust Greenbelt each year which is then distributed in small and medium size grants. Trust Greenbelt has contributed to the development funding of TPFF website.
Christian Aid is the official development agency of the churches in Britain and Ireland. They are mandated to work on relief, development and advocacy for poverty eradication. Christian Aid’s essential purpose is to expose the scandal of poverty, to help in practical ways to root it out from the world and to challenge and change structures and systems that favour the rich and powerful over the poor and marginalised. Christian Aid was an early development funder of Cashback (working title).
Trócaire is the official overseas development agency of the Catholic Church in Ireland. It was set up by the Irish Catholic Bishops in 1973 to express the concern of the Irish Church for the suffering of the world’s poorest and most oppressed people. Trócaire work through global Catholic networks and with local partners on the ground. When they help people, they work with them, so that they drive the entire process themselves. Trócaire has made a grant of 7,500 EURO towards the finishing fund for The Road to Bethlehem.

The Channel 4 BRITDOC foundation believes that ‘documentaries are a vital part of British culture and democracy with a unique role to play in reflecting on the way we live and challenging our ideas, assumptions and fears about the past, present and future of the world.’ Having supported the production of 50 independent documentaries in the past 4 years, the Foundation has forged a path to encourage strategic collaborations between film-makers, NGOs and campaigners. Building on links established over the past two years through Black Gold, Tipping Point Film Fund staff and the Foundation are look forward to collaboration on future projects.
Tipping Point Film Fund and Working Films hope to collaborate on those film projects that have a built in campaigning and advocacy plan for the USA as part of the outreach to put pressure on (international) decision-makers on a given issue. These collaborations will be determined by a film-by-film analysis and conditional, in some cases, on securing additional financial support.
