Tipping Point Film Fund will have a number of projects it wishes to support at any one time covering a range of subjects.  All donations will go into the fund, spreading your contribution across the ‘slate’ of films Tipping Point Film Fund is involved with.

For every £1 you donate to Tipping Point Film Fund:-

80p will go into a combined production and associated campaigning fund.

10p general fund for those projects in early development.

10p admin/core funds – this will supplement core funding support from partner organizations.

Profits Returned to Tipping Point Film Fund

Making a feature documentary is not often synonymous with making much profit, let alone big profits.   Tipping Point Film Fund has been established precisely because of the difficulty in getting certain types of films made and this often has the added issue of leaving  many committed documentary film-makers  struggling to do more than break even on projects.  Tipping Point Film Fund respects the rights of film-makers to make a living from their films.

However, Tipping Point Film Fund does hope, over time, to grow the fund in part from contributions coming back from successful films that have had Tipping Point Film Fund support.

With this principle in mind, Tipping Point Film Fund will negotiate on a film by film basis, an appropriate return to Tipping Point Film Fund which is proportionate to the level of funding given to the project.
