For Tipping Point Film Fund to raise funds for any film’s production and campaigning, we will do everything possible to ensure that the project meets criteria that, combined, indicate a film’s potential for success – e.g. raising the budget, completing a film of quality, securing distribution domestically and internationally and offering a tool for deepening the power of associated campaigns on a given subject.

There are no cast-iron guarantees in film production or distribution. This is part of the journey you will be making with us.  However, we believe that high production value films, commitment to new ideas, perseverance and collaborative efforts on campaigning can combine to deliver confidence in our projects (within and without the film industry) which in turn, will resonate for Tipping Point Film Fund supporters.

And because staying power and commitment are often THE deciding factors in films reaching the big screen the idea of ‘dedicated giving’ to films for change is central to the long-term success of Tipping Point Film Fund and the films and campaigns it supports.

Finally. the larger the contribution Tipping Point Film Fund can make the greater the freedom for film-makers, the greater the certainty that the film will be made, and the likelihood of securing co-production finance.  Tipping Point Film Fund plays a crucial role in this regard – as a committed ‘first in’ production funder.

Tipping Point Film Fund has good working links with organisations such as the Channel 4 BRITDOC foundation for potential collaboration on future projects.
